GBK express has become one of my favorites. I have gone to the 17th street location since they opened and now seem to find myself at GBK express more because of the location. The food is fresh, service is great and the people I meet here are wonderful. No matter when I go they are always there to greet me with a smile and a warm hello. The restaurant has only been open on the Galt for a few months and they are still finding their rhythm in an area that is used to fast food but I highly recommend giving them a shot. Their wonderful energy, food and service is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and I hope they are here to stay.

GBK is my favorite place to eat, hands down! The food is fresh and organic! It has a nice and clean modern decor. For others who nitpick at the details of service just say something to the people who work there and if that doesn't work tell the management. As for the food it's so amazing I told my friends and every time I brought a friend there, they now love the place!!! My favorite item on the menu is the Tacos, they come with rice and black beans! Yummy!!! I also recommend the Curry Chick'n salad sandwich and the Roasted Bowl. The roasted bowl fills me up good but doesn't make me feel bloated and is perfect for an after the gym workout since it contains Quinoa which is high in protein... I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to eat healthy which should be everyone!!!

This place is walking distance from my house and I like the food. After two successive strikes with service... they are out. Just this morning, I wrote a comment to their management. We recently planned our errands to pick up dinner at the Galt location before 7:00PM. We arrived at 6:50PM and were turned away. IMHO if you are "open until 7:00", you serve your customers until 7:00. It just gets better... So I plan my run this morning to pass by the Galt store, leave an order and pick it up on the way back. I get there at 10:45, and the fellow tells me he opens at 11:00. I say, no problem, here is a note with an order for two items... I will pick them up in 30 minutes. On the way back I stop in to pick up the food. The fellow says he couldn't make the food without a name. I have been in that store and dealt with that guy at least 5 times in recent weeks. No more.

Looks like I'm going to be casting rain upon what is, up to this point, a solid parade of six 5 Star reviews. But, I have to call it as I experienced it and what I think of Green Bar & Kitchen. Its healthy oriented foods are really good, fresh and tasty but for proclaiming it a "Woohoo," as good as it gets, to me it's not. First off, Green Bar & Kitchen is pretty much akin to a sub shop in size and style. It's small, near hole in the wall of place, clean, but with a sort of industrial décor, cement floor merely clear coated over, only four tiny indoor tables and eight little less than comfortable chairs for dinning. Everything is over the counter in operation and unless you tell them in advance they'll assume your order to be take out. Indeed they would seem to be more take out than dine in oriented. The staff is clearly untrained or generally unskilled in their profession, but mostly with little things such as when I took a bottle of soda from the cooler area and asked for a bottle opener, instead of simply opening it for me, I get some information that the cap is a twist off and how I might proceed to open it myself. Also, no offer of a cup or any ice, which are minor things but generally what one would expect from anyone skilled in the art of hospitality services. On the good side, I had their faux curried chicken salad sandwich which was rather, nice in full curry flavor, good in overall texture, but not exceptional or beyond the likes of what I have had in other such health or vegan oriented stores.

I can't even believe there would be ONE negative review about Green Bar & Kitchen. I've been there four times now. Was just there Friday night. I have always had exceptional customer serivce, over and beyond every time. Friday I just stopped in before a 7:30p.m. meeting for something small to hold me over until 9:00 dinner. They were accommodating and didn't try to upsell me to having something larger. The food is consistently delicious! Flavorful, organic, healthy. I go to the one on 17th St. Causeway and it's absolutely lovely. Great atmosphere with a little outside area that is perfect when it's cool out. Delicious bakery items too. Their blueberry hibiscus tea is amazing. I had a very tasty hummus sandwich with avocado and boy was it good!

Green bar Express is definitely what the north side of Fort Lauderdale needed. A quick and convenient fresh and organic hot spot. The staff is just as friendly as the staff at Green bar & Kitchen. To smooth out any negative reviews on here, you have to understand that any restaurant at first will have kinks to smooth out. I appreciate all the hard work and look forward to more surprises coming from Green bar. A few of my favorite dishes would be the Thai coconut soup, roasted veggie wrap, and hello at the oatmeal Whoopie pie... and you can even make your own salad.. all I can say is go see for yourself!

Food is so fresh and clean. The menu is big and have a great variety of vegan options. The juices are delicious ! The staff is wonderful as Well. Take out takes a bit but it's worth the wait

A great all vegan option when you're in the area, especially when spending the day on the beach. Much smaller than the location on 17th, and without the dessert bar, but the food was just as good.

i loveeeee,this place ! the food is amazing im addicted to the hummus wrap. the desserts are to die for, I had a,cup cake today and i almost cried when it was,gone! great staff great,food wish u guys the best !

I love this place! I frequent here when I can and I am never disappointed. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their Tempeh Buffalo Sandwich is my favorite and they always have an assortment of different desserts to try. It's healthy, organic, and vegan. Vegan food doesn't have to taste bland-- that's a misconception. There is so much flavor and deliciousness here! I absolutely LOVE their bunch on Sundays. Omggg the pancakes with chocolate chips and fruit are to die for! The ONLY thing I would say is that sometimes when they are very busy, the food can take awhile to come out, but I am patient and it's worth the wait :)

We eat at your restaurant all the time and I LOVE it, but you really need more registers and a little quicker kitchen. Getting a soup out should happen pretty quickly. I recently brought a friend new to you and the order was a big mess up. They lost my order and then tried to give me someone elses order. Finally got it right , but we had an appointment to get to, so it was very stressful. I assured her that this is not normal. I also recently placed a pick up order because I was in a hurry and had to wait in the very long line to pay. Again, another register would have helped in that situation. Maybe a register for pick up and juice only orders ??? Overall great, but mix up the menu. I am a vegan, my husband is not, and he is very bored with the menu :0( Hard to get him to eat out with me . Only sharing to try and help. Thank you for what you do.

Fantastic location, ultra close to the beach and in a very safe/fun part of town. This location is great in many regards. The fact that it's even here is great. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I love the atmosphere and all the additions that are here now and coming in the future. Too bad I am traveling here from Alabama and not here to stay. Will definitely recommend to everyone k know and return on my next trip to FTL! Thanks a ton.
